The Ry-80PTG-D effervescent tablet tube filling machine processes 60 to 80 tubes per minute with a filling accuracy of 99% or higher. Built specifically for effervescent tablet packaging into cylindrical tubes, this machine integrates tube unscrambling, tablet feeding, electronic counting, cap pressing, and output collection into a single PLC-controlled system. At 5,500 x 1,800 x 1,800 mm and 800 kg, it serves as the backbone of effervescent tablet packaging lines for pharmaceutical and nutraceutical manufacturers worldwide.
The machine adopts PLC and touch screen control with electromechanical integration, combining tube unscrambler, tube pushing mechanism, cap feeder, and cap pressing station into one coordinated system. A 5 kW motor running on 220V single-phase power drives the full production cycle, while the compressed air supply is provided by the buyer to match facility specifications.
The production cycle operates through six synchronized stages. In the tablet feeding and orientation stage, tablets are loaded into a hopper where a vibration or rotary feeding system aligns them one by one, preventing overlap and breakage before they reach the counting station.
The counting system uses electronic or mechanical sensors, typically photoelectric detectors, to register each tablet as it passes through. The precise count ensures the correct number of effervescent tablets fills every tube. Meanwhile, the tube feeding and positioning stage automatically feeds empty tubes from a storage magazine into the machine, positioning them upright and moving each one into the filling station via a conveyor or indexing system.
During the tablet filling stage, the counted tablets are dropped into the tube in sequence. The filling mechanism is designed to minimize impact force, preventing chipping and powder generation that would compromise tablet integrity and tube cleanliness. After filling, tubes advance to the capping and sealing station where plastic caps containing integrated desiccant material are automatically placed and pressed onto each tube. The desiccant in the cap absorbs residual moisture, protecting the hygroscopic effervescent tablets throughout their shelf life. Optional induction sealing provides an additional airtight barrier for products requiring maximum moisture protection.
Finished tubes are discharged onto an output conveyor or collection tray. Optional coding or labeling systems can be integrated at this stage for batch numbers, expiry dates, and product identification.
Pharmaceutical companies use the Ry-80PTG-D for packaging effervescent vitamin C tablets, effervescent cold and flu remedies, electrolyte replacement tablets, and antacid effervescent formulations. Nutraceutical manufacturers rely on it for sports hydration tablets, energy-boosting effervescent supplements, and mineral replacement formulas. The machine handles the full range of tube-bottle formats used in the effervescent tablet market, with quick changeover between different tube specifications.
The 99% plus filling accuracy and cap pressing rate meet pharmaceutical quality standards, and the integrated desiccant cap system addresses the specific moisture-sensitivity challenge of effervescent formulations. Tubes sealed by this machine maintain product stability through standard shelf-life periods under recommended storage conditions.
The Ry-80PTG-D is constructed with SUS304 stainless steel for the main machine body, with optional SUS316 stainless steel available for product contact parts requiring enhanced corrosion resistance. The machine meets GMP-oriented pharmaceutical production requirements and supports CE certification for international export. Compliance with international standards enables the machine to serve pharmaceutical manufacturers exporting to regulated markets in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
