Written by Brian Cooper, Electronic Counting Systems Specialist at Hangzhou Ruiyi Machinery Technology Co., Ltd. With 13 years of experience in pharmaceutical counting equipment, I have deployed electronic counting machines for over 90 production facilities across 35 countries, specializing in mid-to-high-speed bottling line configurations.
The Ry-AEC-16C is a 16-channel fully automatic electronic counting machine that counts and bottles tablets, capsules, softgels, pills, chewing gum, and other solid products at speeds of 10 to 70 bottles per minute. It uses photoelectric sensor technology to achieve counting accuracy up to 99.8%, making it suitable for pharmaceutical and nutraceutical manufacturers who require precise fill counts for regulatory compliance. The machine handles product format changes without requiring mold replacements, reducing changeover time between different product runs.
Product loaded into the 70-liter hopper feeds onto a vibrating corrugated plate that distributes materials across 16 parallel channels. Each channel uses a three-stage adjustable vibrating platform to control product flow speed, preventing jams and ensuring single-file product presentation. As products pass through the counting head in each channel, photoelectric sensors register and count them individually. The bottle blocking device on the conveyor belt positions an empty bottle at the filling station, and once the target count is reached across all channels, the counted batch drops into the waiting bottle. The conveyor then advances to position the next bottle. The anti-dust sensor technology maintains counting accuracy even in environments with high particulate levels from tablet coating or powder residue.
The Ry-AEC-16C serves mid-volume pharmaceutical production lines bottling prescription medications, over-the-counter tablets, and capsule formulations. Nutraceutical manufacturers use it for vitamin tablets, supplement capsules, and mineral pills. Confectionery producers deploy it for chewing gum and gummy vitamin counting. The machine's 70-bottle-per-minute maximum speed positions it between entry-level 8-channel counters and high-speed 48-channel systems, making it suitable for production lines processing moderate daily volumes or serving multiple product formats on shared equipment.
Product contact parts are manufactured from SUS316 stainless steel as standard, meeting GMP pharmaceutical production requirements. The machine frame uses SUS304 stainless steel for structural integrity and corrosion resistance. CE certification is supported, and the machine complies with international export standards for global pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
The machine integrates into complete automatic bottling lines alongside bottle unscramblers, desiccant inserters, capping machines, induction sealing machines, labeling machines, and collection turntables. Conveyor height, signal interface protocols, and feeding direction can be customized to match existing line configurations. The PLC system supports communication with upstream and downstream equipment for synchronized line operation.
Every machine includes operation manuals and installation videos. Online technical support and remote troubleshooting are available, with lifetime technical assistance as standard. Overseas engineer installation and operator training can be arranged upon request. Standard delivery time is 7 to 15 working days for single machines.
