Horizontal Type Cartoning Machine involves several key steps in the automated process of packaging products into cartons:
Carton Loading: Flat, pre-scored cartons are loaded into a vertical magazine and are automatically fed into the machine.
Carton Erecting: The machine opens the carton and erects it to its proper shape. The sides of the carton are formed and prepared for the product.
Product Feeding: Products, which could be bottles, sachets, or other items, are moved into position and placed into the opened carton. This step is typically done via an automated conveyor system.
Leaflet Insertion (if applicable): If required, additional materials like instruction leaflets or promotional inserts are automatically added to the carton.
Carton Sealing: The carton is then closed and sealed. The machine uses glue, tuck-folding, or both to secure the top and bottom flaps of the carton.
Discharge: The finished and sealed carton is then moved via a conveyor to the discharge area, where it is collected for further distribution or packaging.
