The Ry-AFIS-WC is a continuous-motion electromagnetic induction sealing machine designed for high-volume bottling lines in pharmaceutical, food, chemical, and cosmetic manufacturing. The system creates hermetic seals on plastic and glass bottles by bonding aluminum foil liners to container mouths through electromagnetic energy, delivering tamper-evident protection and extended shelf life for moisture-sensitive, oxygen-sensitive, and contamination-critical products.
Capable of sealing up to 200 bottles per minute across container diameters from 10 to 100 mm and heights up to 180 mm, this machine integrates directly into existing conveyor lines. The 304 stainless steel construction and integrated cooling system enable continuous 24-hour operation without performance degradation, making it suitable for multi-shift production environments where downtime directly impacts output targets.
Induction sealing creates a hermetic barrier without direct contact between the sealing head and the container. The process begins when a capped bottle, containing an aluminum foil liner under the cap, passes beneath the induction coil on the conveyor belt. The coil generates an oscillating electromagnetic field that penetrates the non-metallic cap and reaches the conductive aluminum foil.
Eddy currents induced in the foil generate rapid, localized heat. This heat melts the heat-sealable polymer film bonded to the underside of the foil liner. The molten polymer flows onto the lip of the container, and as the bottle exits the induction field, the polymer cools and solidifies, creating a permanent bond between the foil and the container rim.
The result is a tamper-evident, airtight seal that protects against moisture ingress, oxygen exposure, microbial contamination, and product leakage during transport and storage. The seal remains intact until the consumer peels the foil, providing visible evidence of prior opening.

Metallic bottles and metal caps cannot be used with induction sealing, as the metal would interfere with the electromagnetic field. For products packaged in metal containers, alternative sealing methods such as heat seal or pressure-sensitive sealing should be considered.
