This fully automatic candy sorting and packaging machine integrates feeding, sorting, positioning, paper feeding, wrapping, and output into a single continuous system. Built on a three-servo control architecture, it handles rectangular, square, round, oval, and irregular-shaped candies without requiring mechanical changeovers between product types. The machine measures 3,600 x 1,200 x 1,350 mm and weighs 950 kg, positioning it as a mid-range wrapping solution for confectionery manufacturers seeking to replace manual or semi-automatic packaging with a fully automated line.
At 3.5 kW total power consumption, the machine delivers high-speed wrapping performance that meets the demands of large-scale candy production. The five-blade cutting system produces wrapping paper lengths of 50 to 80 mm, accommodating a wide range of candy formats from small hard candies to larger filled confections. An extra-large sugar tray maintains a steady supply of product to the sorting and wrapping stations, minimizing empty package rates and reducing material waste during production runs.
The machine operates through a synchronized six-stage cycle controlled by three independent servo motors. The first servo manages paper supply, feeding wrapping film into the forming section with precision timing that eliminates gaps and misalignment between consecutive wraps. The second servo drives the product sorting and positioning system, which uses a combination of mechanical guides and sensors to detect candy orientation and align each piece correctly for the wrapping station.
The third servo controls the packaging speed, synchronizing the movement of sorted candies with the paper feeding and wrapping mechanism. Candies are loaded into the extra-large sugar tray, which feeds them into the sorting channel at a controlled rate. The sorting system handles multiple candy shapes simultaneously, using adjustable mechanical selectors and optical sensors to detect and position each piece. Once positioned, the candy enters the wrapping station where the pre-cut wrapping paper is folded around it in a single continuous motion. The five-blade cutting system then separates the completed wrap from the film roll, and the finished candy is discharged onto the output conveyor.
Hard candy manufacturers use this machine for wrapping individual pieces of boiled sweets, fruit drops, and lozenges in twist-wrap or fold-wrap format. Filled candy producers apply it to wrapped bonbons, toffee pieces, and caramel chews. Gum and jelly manufacturers use it for individually wrapped gummy candies, fruit jellies, and licorice pieces. The multi-shape sorting capability makes it particularly valuable for mixed-product lines where different candy shapes are processed on the same equipment.
The machine also serves chocolate producers needing to wrap filled chocolate pieces, chocolate-coated nuts, and pralines in foil or paper wraps. Chewing gum manufacturers use it for individual gum piece wrapping. The flexible sorting system adapts to seasonal product changes and limited-edition shapes without significant reconfiguration time.
The machine is constructed with a SUS304 stainless steel frame and food-grade contact surfaces, meeting GMP-oriented production requirements for food manufacturing. All product contact parts are designed for easy cleaning and sanitization between production batches. CE certification is supported, and the machine complies with international export standards for food packaging equipment.
